Brussels Gay Pride
Belgium → Brussels16.05 - 18.05.2025

Brussels annual Gay Pride event is normally the first in Europe. Attended by around 100,000 from neighbouring cities or Amsterdam, Cologne and Paris as well as some international tourists.

The parade take place in the city centre and is followed by a party in St Catherine Square close to the Bourse  as well as many hang out after the parade on Rue du Marché au Charbon where many of the most popular gay bars are located.

Los Angeles Pride (WeHo)

LA Pride, the second largest Pride celebration in the America. Held in West Hollywood neighbourhood of Los Angeles locally referred to WeHo. Los Angeles' first pride parade, and the world's first gay pride parade, was on June 28, 1970.

With around 40% of LGBTQ residents and businesses in West Hollywood identifying as LGBTQ the city hosts an event popular with American and international tourists.

A 3 day celebration with the parade the main event. Book early as West Hollywood is famous the world over and accommodation and event tickets get sold out early.

Washington World Pride

Washington main pride event as the city also hosts black pride, transpride and several other smaller LGBTQ pride events. An event that started in 1975 and attracts locals and international tourists. Each event has a political theme as in the American political capital. This event centre around the Dupont Circle neighbourhood which is popular with LGBTQ businesses and community. 

A 10 day LGBTQ event with the parade on final Saturday and a festival the next day on Sunday to conclude the event.

Bear Summer Berlin

The Bears Summer event is an annual bear’s weekend featuring bear parties, brunch and bowling and other activities in Berlin. It is a fun friendly event attracting bears from Germany and worldwide.

The main party takes place at Gretchen with 2 Dance floors: one for Pop, Disco, Dance & Club Classics and one for House, Electro and Techno In addition for smokers and others there is a large outdoor area to enjoy the Berlin summer. One of the main events of the bears social calendar for Europe.

With over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and more than twenty community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of the LGBTQ community and allies in the nation. Celebrations begin on a Saturday in Civic Center Plaza in downtown San Francisco the last full weekend of June each year.

The Parade, which takes place the Sunday morning of the event, kicks off from Beale Street along Market and ends at Market and 8th St. in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

New York Gay Pride

Commemorating NYC Pride is one of the biggest pride events in the world. The Parade passes through the centre of NY with numerous floats and many other cities promoting local gay pride events from other cities on the parade to the huge number of attendees.

A weekend when NY turns pink and attracts tourists from NY, American cities and around the world.

As the parade is typically on the Sunday the city get busy with majority arriving on Thursday and departing on Monday.  Combining the LGBTQ event with visiting NY tourist attractions or do some great shopping whist enjoying the hospitality of the city is typical way to spend a 4/5 trip.

Munich Gay Pride (CSD)

Munich Gay Pride is Bavaria’s largest LGBTQ event with approximately 200,000 attendees. The event has been held since 1980 and grown in popularity. The main parade takes place on the Saturday afternoon with the Munich trams being decorated as well.

After the parade there is a street festival in Marienplatz which is Munich’s historic central square. In this square there a stage with local and international entertainers. In the evening the neo-gothic Munich City Hall is used as a large party location for the LGBTQ community which is unique for a city hall to be used for this type of party. Typically the mayor of Munich support the gay parade and why city hosts the party at the city hall.

Madrid Gay Pride

One of Europe's largest gay pride event with the parade taking 7 hours to pass through the centre of Madrid. Estimated attendance each year is around 2 million people and the city is packed for 4 days with many arriving on Thursday when Madrid starts to fill up. Typically the city is sold out so you should book accommodation in advance. The Parade is on Saturday evening from 17.30 until 00.30. 

An event which is fun to attend and the city is pack with LGBTQ community creating a party atmosphere. Enjoy the generally warm weather and party with the Madrileño's (Madrid Locals)

London Gay Pride

A parade in centre of London followed by a party in Trafalgar Square with around 100 performers and community acts from across the LGBTQ community  In addition to the main stage in Trafalgar square there are smaller stage in Soho were many of the attendee hang out before and after the parade. Soho and Old Compton street is considered the main gay neighbourhood of London

An event which turns London pink for the day and a party atmosphere in whole of central London.

The pride event is on the Saturday with most people arriving Thursday/Friday to experience Soho & Vauxhall neighbourhoods prior to the main event. Typically the city turns pink for the weekend so it is advisable to book your accommodation and any event tickets in advance to not be disappointed.

The Berlin pride celebration known locally as CSD Berlin, is a parade and festival held in the second half of July each year for the LGBTQ community and allies. CSD stands for Christopher Street Day and has been held since 1979.

A large parade with many floats followed with a party in centre of Berlin popular with German and foreign tourists. Book your accommodation early as the city is generally full during the week of this event.
